The Career Planning Partner website meets the needs of schools and alumni groups wanting to provide their alumni with a manageable amount of online career assistance and resources.
Importantly, the website is designed to tie in to any existing online career resources such as an online community, a career events calendar and an alumni network.
Scheduled for launch in early 2008, the website was developed by an alumni relations executive, with input from many alumni and human resources professionals.
"Alumni continually tell me that they are confused and turned-off by existing career management websites. That's because existing sites are too large, too impersonal, too hard to use, and too likely to frustrate you," says the site's original designer, Jud Saviskas.
